The Illinois Teamsters/Employers Apprenticeship & Training Fund, as their objective is to train our apprentices in the field of CONSTRUCTION DRIVER and to ensure them that they are skilled in all phases of the construction industry. The Training Fund recognizes that in order to accomplish this, there must be well-developed on-the-job training combined with certification training. "Nearly 450 Teamsters Complete New Program
Nearly 450 Teamsters Local 727 trade show and movie members have completed a new safety training course designed specifically for workers in their field.
The Illinois Teamsters/Employers Apprenticeship & Training Fund, which is affiliated with Teamsters Joint Council 25, conducted 15 four-hour courses in December and January at McCormick Place and Rosemont Exposition Center.
"We are always looking at ways to help educate our members and give them the training they need to continue working at the highest level possible," said John T. Coli, Secretary-Treasurer of Local 727 and President of Joint Council 25. "Thanks to the enthusiasm and participation of our hardworking members, this program has been incredibly successful right out of the gate."
